Covid Cafe: Sunday In Pictures

Chefs, it's a sunny summer day and the air has lightened a bit. Let's hope our moods too. Make something delicious today if you can...

We had this for first meal

Collette checked in this morning from the Arcata, CA, farmers market.

Rob made the bread-and-butter pickles we featured a few days ago. Look at those packed jars! These pickles are so good we're already on our second batch (and they're uber easy).

Gwen returned from a stressful dental appointment last week and walked straight to the kitchen to make a perfect summer meal...

Trout with flour and cornmeal,
corn fried with butter, parsley, and bell peppers,
and turnip green with ham, onions and lots of garlic.

Chris is harvesting beets
from his organic garden

We have enough summer squash
for daily meals

Only two things that money can’t buy
and that’s true love and homegrown tomatoes
