Allans Beach: A Visit In Pictures

Just a short few kilometers down a dirt road from our campsite is Allans Beach, a stretch of beautiful coast on the Otago Peninsula.
 


 
 




In the shadows, the sand looks like snow.





A lava flow, now hardened. The Otago Peninsula was created by volcanoes. Read more here.

    What a set of photos! Your words are normally so enjoyable but this is truly a case where the pictures can do all the talking just fine.
